Going to motorcycle events can be fun to do with friends and family. Here is a list of 5 best motorcycle events to go to if you like bike competitions or shows.
1. Isle of Man TT
This is one of the best and biggest events in the UK. It lasts for two weeks and it features biker rallies and shows, bands, custom shows, the Ramsay Sprint and 24-hour motorcycle partying. Anyone who owns a bike can get around. It is an unforgettable 2 week event.
2. World Ducati Week
This event isn’t held every year. However, it is one of the most popular world events for bikers where there are custom bikes and shows, ride-outs, test rides, bands, demo and more. In 2016 there was even a barbecue served by Ducati staff, including Claudio Domenicali the Ducati CEO. It was a nice celebration for the 60th anniversary for Ducati where Casey Stoner and other Ducati leading riders entertained the attendees and signed autographs.
3. Faro International Motorcycle Rally
The Faro International Motorcycle Rally is one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the Europe. Held annually in the third week of July, it is a custom theme festival where bikers from other countries come to participate or just to watch. Faro is one of the hottest locations in Portugal, the capital of the Algarve holiday area not far from Gibraltar.
4. European Bike Week
The European Bike Week is the biggest motorcycling event of the Continent. It is also the biggest annual gathering Harley riders and custom fans that takes place in Austria at the lakeside resort of Faaker See. The landscape is very beautiful and can be enjoyed by people who come here. The event lasts six days, and the attendees can enjoy the bands, ride-outs, custom shows and much more.
5. The Milan Show
The Milan Show is not a riding event. It is however a beautiful event where motorcycles are exposed in the huge Milan Fiero in around eight halls with enormous stands. In over a full week, attendees can see beautiful models around the motorcycles from leading manufacturers. There are also clothing firms, magazines, customizers and a lot more to see and buy too. The demand is very high in the area, so maybe it’s a good idea that, if you want to attend this super impressive event, to book accommodation early.
